FAMILY TEAM
The Oaks Law Centre was originally established in 1999 by John Luxford. Upon John’s retirement from practise in 2009, John’s son Andrew Luxford became the Director of the new incorporated law firm. John Luxford continued as a consultant to the new firm until his retirement. Andrew’s sister Mary Mainland is also a lawyer at the firm.
Andrew Luxford has been practising law since being enrolled in 2005. Andrew is married with four children and spends time enjoying music and the outdoors with his family. Andrew is also involved with a number of charitable organisations.
Mary Mainland was also enrolled as a lawyer in 2005 and practised at the Oaks before taking a period of maternity leave. Mary returned to the Oaks in 2020. Mary is married with four children and enjoys crafting (rag rugging) and family outings to the local attractions.
